Description
A candid of the guy in the next compartment. The glass holders used to be very typical of the Russian tea-drinking culture. Now they are mostly used on the train.

a wonderful image and atmosphere in this one, nikolay! it is so long ago i was here in your place, sorry for that, but life is quite a bit more stressful past time. i try to make it better anyway, and you, keep on your hunt for such fine moods and thoughts, it is unique not only what you grab, the way how you do it is uniquely all the more! have a good time and until next time, nikolay :)))

Excellent portrait!! Very well done!!! I feel like I'm on that train!
Love it and he looks soooo much like my Grandfather Bert who died many moons ago who I ADORED as a child. He was an eccentric beautiful man with a very powerful telescope out of the roof of his house that he built himself from scratch. Not only to observe the universe but because he also belonged to a very interesting group of men who checked the night sky for Aliens:) And although he lived in a cold region of America (Pennsylvania) he always managed to grow Coconut Palm trees and other tropcals including marijuana in his basement JUST to see if he could do it. Thanks for the memories and fantastic photo!! Cynthia:))))
Fantastic portrait !
