...Questo giorno " Assumption day " è dedicato alla Vergine Maria. Per me invece ha sempre rappresentato la fine dell'estate. Ricordi di ragazzina quando le mie vacanze potevano essere lunghissime giù in Sicilia. Ero sempre in acqua e poi nella notte tutti attorno ad un falò sulla sabbia a suonare ,ballare e mangiare frittelle.Avrei voluto fermare il tempo ma ..."il NORD " mi ha richiamata con tutte le sue incombenze.

Also you have a painter's sense of shadow: Your young woman is shaded in beautiful reds & violets & blues—very fine choices, very fine hues. A luminous agosto image, perfect for ferragosto, and I hope your holiday time gave you rest before you traveled back north to your home...The trees & flowers in the background are beautiful too.
