Un mio amico mi ha detto una volta: quando noi figli riusciamo a vedere i difetti dei nostri genitori e li accettiamo lo stesso, vuol dire che li amiamo veramente.

Beautiful, excellent composition, light and pose.
our parents lived in an easier world where price tags were stickered to the item instead of the barcode - lol... I love the barcode and I remember being a kid when it came out and it took them years before they started using it. Parents have faults??? I just remember the love - My Mother was a very careing woman and did what she could to help her fellow man. I like the picture.

Forse è più facile accettare i difetti degli amici che dei propri genitori... li vorremmo perfetti e al di sopra di ogni debolezza umana... ma sono i nostri genitori e l'amore sarà sempre forte... quando poi non ci sono, più i difetti scompaiono assieme a loro e resta solo una grande sensazione di vuoto! Io li ho persi tutti e due a distanza di tre mesi l'uno dall'altra da più di dodici anni... e mi mancano sempre come il primo giorno! Tientili cari, gea... e non pensare ai loro difetti... sono anche loro esseri umani! La composizione è semplicemente fantastica... l'atmosfera, poi, è molto suggestiva! :)
I see a woman who is beautiful & who has much dignità, standing outside a window; and she looks in with admiration...perhaps her father is in there...She is now gone from the home, fully in the world on her own, but she looks back as if looking into memory, and she sees the man glowing from inside the home...and she's surrounded by the ruins of a once-beautiful structure, maybe from Roman days; and the structure is old & decayed but it still had dignità & beauty, just like her father. The flaws are nothing compared to the love she feels. Just as the Roman structure still stands, so does the love between a parent & child. That's how I see this...and it's beautiful, evocativo, and feels very 'true'. A commovente image with a quiet mythic feeling...and the window, tinged in gold, seems to look-in on a very beautiful home inside...
