What a lovely instrument . . . !
The time is never dreary, If a person never moans, A hoofer's never weary With the rattlin' of the bones. Ring, ring the banjo! I like that good old song. Come again, good fortune, Oh! where you been so long? Stellar capture of the good old music maker, Jock!
It's very difficult to play a sad song on a banjo...... Excellent photo
A beautiful instrument..excellent lighting and photo! :)
lovely capture my friend x
Nice shot, Jocko!!
That is a good one Jock! great hay background.
Nice shot, Jocko! I learned years back how to play one, a 5-string banjo!
Great image, Jock! The hay bale helps me hear the music better.
My grandfather was very Victorian and stodgie, however, he had a closet life as a banjo player. LOL He could pick those strings until the house came down but never when anyone but his wife or children were around because he did not think it proper that a business man such as himself could pick and grin. I love this shot because it has that mood and flavor that the banjo seems to stand for.
Excellent shot!
Mighty nice banjo. Play a song for me Apple Jack, Apple Jack Play a song for me and I'll sing, Play a song for me Apple Jack, Apple Jack Play a song let your banjo sing. - Dolly Pardon
