What soul thinks inside?
A special place for me own
A tender center sees
Bits of chunks turn near
Surrounded by water
Miss you when not around
The cookie tends to crumble
Tumble a little bit
As growing up is hard to do
When the blinds shut the curtains
Understands will never completely
Through the darkness that lays
Tells a story of many kinds
Simple if indeed not hard
But does remember pieces fit
Along the road the laces tie
As a string pulls the attachment
Whispers the bloomy skies
A friend waves a sweet hello
In the distance is a smile
