Description
Yep, I'm still here--I lost a big chunk of July because my ISP crashed, and then I realized that I hadn't done a lot of non-Internet things like..fix my house. Also I have some other non-digital hobbies that have been taking up my time, and work, which has been busy, and hilarious. I did a cover for a SF novel that I am dying to read, with Marines vs Bugs, but it won't be out for months and the title may change before it comes out--the author is David Laake, I think. I also did one for Bundoran Press that looked good, Fall From Earth, and a ton of anthologies and whatnot that I am still waiting to be paid for!

Great to see you posting again, funny I was thing of you the other day, wondering where you went. Sounds like you have been busy, which is good. :o) Great scee and lighting, that thing she has in her hand looks like it could do some serious damage. :o)
glad to see your work this is very good!
If this is anywhere even close to your commercial work I can see why you are nabbing cover commissions! Your color scheme here is excellent with the rusted metal complimenting the background desert and mountains. the scene looks hot and wasted. I will have to check out that background set of yours.
Glad you found the time to make this, love it! Hope you are done with the house, these craftsmen which do not meet deadlines or are late in the best case can be really embarrassing!
Great scene, superb pose and lighting....excellent work.
Cool piece! Well isn't it fun waiting to get paid, grrrrrrr. I really think some publishers think artists don't really need money to make their living????
Good to see you here in the gallery lady, and what a fabulous image ... Sienna looks awesome!
she makes an imposing figure in beauty and being stalwart
Outstanding image! Great job!
A very compelling image... or "I just had to look". I like her brave pose and the lovely clear light. A nice picture.
Beautiful work!
Gorgeous fantasy scene!
Oh dear! Put the ISP in the laundry , wash it clean, put it in the dryer an then it will work again :( big hugz great to have you back!
Oh... I almost missed this! I am glad that you are well and in a whole and you have my full understanding: Sometimes a time away from the computer, and may it even just be one single day, is necessary to get fresh ideas (and to get the housework done). I just took two days off myself to enjoy the last summer days and can say: It works!! ;o))
Oh yeah, that looks cool! I like the whole look of this image!
Wowsers you get paid for people to look at your stuff while I pay people to look at mine...LOL. I think my viewers refer to it as the pain and suffering award.....Still no sluggs I think that Shadownet has tricked me again...bad kitty... As usual I stand in awe. I will make this one a fav, but since everyone of your could be a fav it would get redundant after a while and just an extention of you gallery.
