Magnificent clarity, colors, lighting and textures in this extremely super duper macro of the exquisite and ubiquitous hibiscus, Maz! One of the best shots I've ever seen of your fav flower.
gorgeous shot!
I don't know if I have a favorite flower...I probably do and it's probably a weed, but anyway, it's good to know that yours is such a gorgeous one! I love the details you caught here, the colors and the whole delicate nature of it. Great work, well seen!
Beautiful flower...
Outstanding macro, color, texture and detail. WOW!!!
The texture is phenomenal! Excellent image.
Awesome! My favorite too!!!!!
in a shot like this, the flower could be a pedestal for a sculpture (the center, the stamen); it's very sculptural, and typical of how you transform a simple flower into a 'statement' through your eye & choices. It has sexual power too, as all flowers do (and are supposed to as that's their function), and at the same time that central growth is like a big exotic tree. Beautiful & mysterious, a capture of the power of a flower, with a big dark area in the center.
