Description
Hi,
Heres a colour test and a wing concept quickly painted in.I'll model the wings next and wrap them around his arms.
More detail has been added to the skin and I used various layers and settings to do the colours through composition of multiple materials.
Thanks for your remarks and advice on him so far.

I still think it looked better as a demon. If you're going the wing route, you should make some bad ass wings coming off his back, rather than the arms. Your concept kinda reminds me of the classic horror movies when Dracula used a cape & pulled it over himself all dramatic like.
Wow, I LOVE this. Its truely scary! The only thing that would make it scarier is to have slime dripping from the fangs, or maybe blood, but somehow slime seems scarier. As always, EXCELLENT work

I like the progress so far. I do agree with dburson though that a wetter look in the mouth would be superb. :D

Greusomely awesome (!) The slight specularity of the skin gives it that cold and clammy look- very nice! The texturing is spot on, and I like the ideas of the wings extending from the arms, as its far more bat-like and akin to winged mammals- cant wait to see what they look like when completed. Definately some sub-surface scattering and slight translucency complete with veins would be cool- but whatever you come up with I am sure will be tops!

I like the gloss, cold and clammy look... This vampire needs a.... a WOODen steak (to put it mildly)... I really am curious what you're going to do with that mid section - time will tell. cool WIP and enjoying the work.

Fantastic work! Love seeing the progress on this piece. I'm not sure if I like the gray skin. I think a slight flesh tone might bring some more realism to the piece.
