Description
Having what I call a Hotch-Potch week this week. Pictures that don't fit into any particular area and which I created just for the fun of it.
This first picture features a race called the Mechanoids from an early Dr Who episode. I took the original model (picture on the right) and re-worked it to give it an arm and a ray gun. The picture on the left features a Mechaniod team preparing a Scout Saucer for launch on the Mechaniod Mothership Flight Deck.
So you could see the two pictures together I finished the work off by merging it in Photoshop.
Hope you like it.

Great sci-fi image my friend, excellent work.
The saucer looks a bit like the ship from "Fobidden Planet". Cool.
superb sci fi^^******************
Mechanoids! I remember them - nice sci-fi work!
classic who
Cool scenes, I love the backdrops too!
WEll done...
Very cool!
Hey Phil! Isn't that saucer a 57C cruiser? Rick
Remove the legs from the saucer and you'll have a replica of the ships in that old 50's classic, "Earth vs The Flying Saucers," (one of my favorite 50's alien movies). Excellent detailing and explanation of work. I would say, "I'm dating myself," but last time I did someone shouted, "Of course you do, no one else will." Funerals Friday.
