Description
There is a very good chance this will not be the last Day Lily I upload here. I have been having a good time with this flower this year and have had a few very successful shots. So it seems the Cosmo, the Day Lily and the bees are my main subjects at the moment. ...and I learned how to layer a photo onto another one... oh boy the fun to be had!
I am also very close to purchasing a macro lens for my Canon.. I am very nervous about the purchase, but very excited about the thought of using it! It's the Canon EF 100 mm f/2.8 macro lens... how awesome is that! I am bursting with excitement! But first, I have planned a little road trip to Arizona. I will be gone next week.. don't miss me :) .... then when I return I am hitting the camera store!!!!
My previous upload, "Just a leaf...". Check it out.. it turned out pretty cool.
I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I am.. I am feeling soooooo much better!
Hugs,
~Melinda~

Very nice!!! Enjoy your trip. and new lens.
Beautiful color and detail!
Melinda, this is so stellar that I'm stunned! Great emphasis on a fine POV, contrast, vivid colors, lighting and textural effects in this magnificent macro! I thought that your original lens already had macro capacity. And happy you're feeling better!
Awesome color and detail. Dana
