Description
Another candid portrait from the the Trifecta Venatorius last weekend.
One of the scavenger hunt items the teams were asked to collect was a positive pregnancy test. Most of the people in this group are in their 20s and 30s, and they're all starting families or have sisters or friends who are pregnant, so all four teams were able to come up with one!
This is Allison getting ready to turn in the test her team collected.
Some of the other items on the list that I can remember off the top of my head were:
- a green piece of paper with 19 staples in it
- a beer tap
- a "road turtle," extra points if it's reflective
- a rock weighing one stone
- an unusual bottle opener (the most points given for the bottle opener was for one that was part of the sole of a shoe, and yes, it came that way from the factory!)
It's a fun event. :)

superb wonderful image!
And a great candid shot it is... :)
Very nice portrait, I love the black and white.
another of your complex portraits of humans, a fine off-angle, she's lost in an activity, she's smiling as if she knows you're there but isn't concerned about your presence. And as b&w you have several hues & lights & shades. Simple, delicate but complex. And thanks for the background too! Fun to know all that.
It sounds like you had fun! Great photo as well! I like the candidness of it, the clarity and the whole emotional vibe of it! I love it when art comes out of just an everyday experience--whether it's something seen on the street or experienced at a party! It's great and this image is superb.
Cool, excellent capture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
