Description
Hermann Goring's Fokker DVII F on a "dawn patrol" in 1918. As part of the second "Fokker scourge" the DVII is considered by many historians as the best fighter plane of WWI. Manfred von Richthofen pushed for the development of the DVII, but died before the plane was ready for combat.
Like birds flying about, So will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem. Defending, He will also deliver it; Passing over, He will preserve it." (Isaiah 31:5)

Very good. You should have entered this image into the current Bryce challene. The theme this month is aviation. It is not too late to upload an image, however you cannot upload an image that you have already posted, you will need to do another piece.
