Nice capture Bill and nice post work well done!!
They look so different from the full frontal images.
very cool post work Bill
Fantastic work!!
Interesting narrative. From your stylized pic I thought B-29.
Quite insect-like!
Really cool image! :)
Love the illustrative look of this photo...
Really like this one Bill! Great series! Would of looked cool in a semi pano to see the entire wing span. Just a thought...
I love this effect you do ... excellent!
I agree with shari, they are pretty neat.
It looks cool... Colours come out well on it don't they AND you can see inside the cockpit! Only thing seems odd (to me) Undercarriage not there... That's all.. Apart from that, spot on job. Rob.
You have me suddenly fascinated with airplanes, my friend! I love your vision!
I love this serie!!! superb capture and work!
Excellent lighting, composition and treatment. I really like your plane series. Its very creative with excellent results.
Neato!
this is splendid! a great achievement!
It does look like an insect! Great work!!!
Terrific frontal impressionist concept of the Boeing B-50 Superfortress, Bill; a post-World War II revision of the wartime United States B-29 Superfortress with larger Pratt & Whitney R-4360 radial engines, a taller vertical stabilizer, and other improvements. Love the nose window display and the four-bladed props.
This one looks terrific with these colours. Well done.
Excellent image!
WOWWWW Thats really Amazing !
superb!!!!
I hope that you are not trading in your feathered birds fot metal birds. This is spectacular Bill. So well done. Dana
Interesting treatment and excellent background information. They could have had the props aligned!
You simply have this technique NAILED--every one of these is just incredible!!
you've once again isolated the bird beautifully (as you did with the rose plant—don't know if I said that in my comments), and in this case you also rendered it into a drawing or painting, though subtly so. It has the tactile feel of a controlled watercolor. It's not easy to de-photograph a photograph, usually the efforts are garish and obvious: But while this still feels like a photo, it also feels like a painting on paper, and both live easefully in the same image. And your hue 'topography' is as good & subtle as any of your images so far. Another fine effort by you. And I like how the wings go into shade on either side. Black is definitely the right color for this series. Though you'll probably find other hues too, and shift accordingly. Interesting info too...didn't know this was eventually used for weather purposes, etc.
