Hello !
This one is the last shot of Hoverflies. Hope you are not bored of it :-)
Thank you so much for your kind comments and favs to my previous post. It means a big deal to me.
This morning begins with the most gorgeous weather. Peaceful, sunny, warm. But it will be up to 27C which is ablout 80.6F. Too much for my comfort. But lets see, we live near the sea, so it might not be that warm. :-)

Gosh Helle this is amazing photography, and puts my macro shots to shame. I took a macro of a hoverfly the other day and was so proud, but yours is breathtaking, very well done my friend. Yes I best stick to my lager furry pet shots I think :o)x hugs Jane xxx

and what a way to end the series: The fly is in profile, and we get to see the whole outlay of the flower. Such amazing detail on the legs & wings; and the stamens are so amazing close up. And the flower just undulates and is beautiful...Shots like this remind us that, to an insect, a flower is a huge bed of undulating carpets and folds. Even that big bud in the left-background is fascinating, like a sculpture made for the garden. If this is the same flower, you must've walked all around it to get these angles; and if the flower is surrounded by other flowers, you had to really work your way through this space. Beautiful work, and a wonderful series all around.
