Doesn't he look like a golfer who has just blasted out of a sand trap?
Male Red-bellied Woodpecker tosses seeds helter skelter looking for his favorites.
This was taken in early May during the first few days that I put seed out. This Woodpecker liked stirring the pot:-)
Thanks for all your comments and favorites.

lol oh cool....he looks like that, or he is karate choppin the crap outta that seed!! lol
This is an awesome capture Bill. This must have been before the new seed mix. Zoom in - he doesn't have his happy face on. :>) Dana
Such a cool capture Bill! Have not had much luck yet with my seed though...
So gorgeous and the likeness to a golfer is right. A super action shot. My birds are like this too, and the shrewd birds are the ones that browse underneath for a feed as they get to have plenty.
"In his last round he topped out finishing on a birdie, and he looks like he's going to do that again" LOL...Excellent capture bud, truley one of your very best my friend!
Dose look like he's looking for just the right seed, LOL. Excellent fun capture and I can see the golfer thing too!!
Fantastic action shot, Bill! Messy little buggers, aren't they? What a great capture!
quite a fun shot... and he does look like he is making a sport out of his lunch!
A whirling dervish of activity here with the woodpecker going at it at full intensity. Fine shot, Bill!
Great shot and title! Very emphatic isn't he!
Very messy business or he just spreading a seeds for others who can not get to the bowl. Either way good action photo.
LOL FAN-tastic action! What a stance! Love how they use their tails for balance.
LOL, what a great shot--he looks like one of those frustrated golfers for sure!! (is there any other kind???)
Awesome action shot!
Excellent capture, nicely done...
Can just see the expression on His face and it says, Darn if I only had arms I would sort this lot out sooner.. Superb capture there Bill, Excellent!!
Hopefully Woody P. Ecker put one over Nic Falcon for a change! A stroke of genius... Cheers, Clive

LOL Just like my kids ... and I'll bet this guy didn't clean up after himself either. ;) funny shot Bill :)
The pilot comes into finals ...speed to high, flaps lowered... See's the field, aims... Then realising his mistake, tries to pull up and..... CRASH... straight into the dish full of seeds!!! Brilliant! Love it. Rob.
Nice action shot...and outstanding capture....!!!
Yes, a golfer. Must be on the pro circuit. Great action blur here, Bill.
fabulous action scene!!! great actor!!! superlative capture!!
looks like he is tapping his feet. or what ever you call them lol and entertaining you... or juggling the seeds very cute shot.
Great action shot! He has good form, coming up out of that sand trap. This little fellow might be hoping for an eagle, but he might have to settle for a birdie. Love the way he's making that seed fly!
