Description
Tracy Arm is a fjord-like body of water off the Stevens Passage south of Juneau. Several glaciers reach right down to the waters edge at its upper reaches.
In the morning it was foggy and the visibility was near zero. The fog almost dissipated but it was still raining when this picture was taken. The temperature was in the upper 40s.
Unfortunately for us one of the glaciers had calved and drift ice prevented us from going further into the fjord to see a glacier.
This picture was taken on 27 May 2009.
