Description
I feel slightly chirpie today so I thought a bird upload would be good! This is a young Olive Thrush or, for the intellectuals, a Turdus olivaceus! I captured it in my garden back in the summer.
Thank you for your visit and your kind comments and favs on my upload of the glass angel yesterday!
Have a super duper weekend!
Hugs, Carin xx

Really a superb capture. Fantastic details and DOF.
Excellent portrait!!
He does look as though he's listening very carefully--eavesdropping perhaps? Hope he passes us the juicy things he hears! Sweet shot, girlfriend!
That beak is a dead giveaway that he is 'Turdus' family, like our blackbirds.
very nice!
Super "great" on your part. 5+.
A really sharp and crisp shot of this beautiful bird Carin, love the detail on the feathers and the flash of blue
Excellent!
Oh Carin, this is soooo beautiful !!! Nice shot!
Lovely bird but more than that, stellar capture of it. The eye is clear and crisp as is the beak and the feathers very nicely defined. Chirpy, huh? Best watch out for the tomcat, Bruce, then. :-)
I'd recognise this bird as one of the thrush family! Super capture.
