She is a beauty. So graceful looking. I love to hear their cooing.
Stellar clarity, contrast, lighting and texture in this ultra superlative capture of the most gentle Mourning Dove and the cable it stands upon, Bill. Your camera serves you well.
Beautifully captured Bill my compliments

Gorgeous capture and details!
Awesome shot!
Beautiful capture Bill!!
they are beautiful birds and this is an outstanding capture---but I hate when they get on my house early in the morning while I am trying to sleep. that cooing drives me crazy
Awesome capture Bill. I wish they would pose for me like this. Excellent work. I'm glad you like the lighthouse, for some reason I keep going back there to take more images.
wow ..she is mighty pretty!!
Very stunning details and colors in this beauty!!
Very nice capture. I find these birds hard to keep in focus.
Very regal looking.....
Wow...One of your best bird photos....
Great image, Bill. The word "gentle" always seem to fit. We get them in our backyard, mostly for the water, but they also forage.
Cool that you got one to get so close, around here at least, they seem very timid. I can mimic the coo well enough to arouse their curiosity, but I think it probably frustrates them more than draw them in. Zoomed is wonderful!
What a neat shot!! Doves are a lovely bird. I use to have a couple of my own once along with a number of pigeons.. Lovely Capture there Bill!!
Fantastic detail, Bill! I agree with kenmo.
Oh bill, what I'd give to be able to capture the Mourning dove as beautifully as you have! this is soo perfect.... such a peaceful expression on her face, too .. if birds can have expressions :) :) :)
how beautiful! looks like she's thinking: when does he give me the seeds?
