Description
Another iris from Walsterway's.
I love iris - they look different from every angle, and they're just so beautiful!
Somebody asked me how close I could get, and I think this is just about the limit. I don't think I've got anything closer than this.
Enjoy!

Wonderful shot! looks like the entrance to a cave
wow, this one is out of this world !!
Top macro! Looks good enough to eat!
I'm being tempted to slide down into a bliss-filled cavern where that delicious confection awaits in HUGE slices. An absolutely masterful shot, Tara!
MARVEOLUS CAPTURE AND FANTASTIC TONE COLORS..!!!!
sooo soft!!!! Fantastic picture!!!
I saw the title and since today is a holiday I thought I was going to see a picture of a lovely lemon meringue pie. This is much more beautiful than a shot of a piece of pie though. Doesn't taste as good, but is prettier. Great shot!
Beautiful, a stunning macro!
WOWWWWWWWW Great shot!
Absolutely breathtaking macro. Super color and detail. I’m enjoying your macro skills. Dana

Just awesome girl, awesome!!
Beautiful colours to this one Tara - a fantastic macro emphasising the true beauty of this wonderful iris. I love the iris too...they are amazing! xx
This is amazing! How close IS this? It looks like the inside of a wedding cake, as well as the inside of a flower. I love the way everything looks so delicate and fragile, like it would all just blow over if you so much as breathe. This is gorgeous work.
This is a perfect example of why I like macro photography so much, it's a look in to another world of plants that we don't other wise see! Excellent Tara.
Truly BEAUTIFUL!! Excellent image.
It's no wonder people find delight and erotic expression in flowers. Excellent close up detail, lighting and color Tara.
Tara, this is just absolutely beautiful. I love the softness and rich colors as they swirl into the center! Beautiful macro!
Oh my, just a small slice, please; this is glorious!!
ellent macro!
wowwwwwwwww ..ditto to all the above!!
And this is SOOO gorgeous Tara. Delicious colors and shapes. Now we just need to see it as a painting.
Beautiful!
Oh my! Exquisite beauty! Outstanding capture!
incredibly beautiful ... so soft and soothing!
When I read the title on my ebot, I thought - No she didn't!!! How can she be so cruel to show me a pic of Lemon meringue (my all time fav dessert) when I just returned from gym... :( Well, this glorious image is as close as you can get without adding calories... LOL.. Remarkable dear Tara - the detail and coloring are amazing! Well done gal!! And the threeway chat this morning with Marilyn was the most fun I had with my clothes on... LOL...
WOW! Stunning shot!
