Description
Posted another version of this some time back, but was never really satisfied. Can't say I'm all that happy with this one either, but I do like it much better than the first. Love the sky in this one. It is the trees that bug me. They should be darker than they seem to be but whenever I attempt to darken them, they just get muddy looking and all uglified. Well, it's all a learning process and will have to do for now.
Thanks for all the encouraging comments on my past work. And always, thanks for visiting the gallery.
Jeremy

outstanding work
Very good work Mr Kjer.
Excellent work Jeremy!
Nice hills in the background. Trees need some sort of roots or widening at the base, I think.
Nice depth to this image.
i love it! Jeremy is great composed :D
Good One Jeremy!!
Looks great to me! :O)
Very nicely composed...agree with geirla's comment on the tree bases, also the lack of shadows is puzzling with the sun's position-do you have shadows turned off in your sun settings? That may be what is also adding to the problem with your trees looking a little off...great scene though, nice one Jeremy!
I'll agree with the shadows. I dont see any. But hey, thats what we're here for. To help each other out. Sometimes the dark of night , (or the coming of dawn) clouds our eyes and minds and we need others to proof read our art. Dragons know I need more eyes in my older stages. LOL But I LOVE the background mountains.Thos are just AWESOME. And the placement of of the bldgs is good. Just the shadows missing to give it depth and sense of grounding.
I agree that the sky is great, and I like the composition. I think the others nailed it with the shadows. Those are really hard to do, both in Bryce and in any kind of post working. I've really struggled to figure out a good way that doesn't involve hours of labor. Overall, this is really cool, though. I really like what you did with these cool models.
