Description
This rose was in an arrangement from a florist, so who knows how the edges got to be that green color? The only thing I'm sure about is that I didn't do it! I'll admit to postwork (it would be silly not to) but only to make it look like a painting. I didn't change the color.

WOW! that is just so neat looking! Great eye and wonderful picture! So we're stalking roses now, eh?
Wow amazing, my father used to create roses with unique edges. I couldn't tell you how he did it but he had a love for growing roses of all kinds. We always had a rose garden in our backyard. This image reminded me of him. I really do miss him.
A most lovely rose indeed! I do love the painterly feel. Well done!

Beautiful rose and presentation. I always wonder how they get the flowers to look like this. Kind of weird what they can do. Have a great holiday weekend. Aloha

My florist did one that she called fire and ice ...she took a red rose and streaked it ..not sure how she did that...with white dye ..it was stunning just like this one!!
special!
A beautiful capture with that lovely painted look and I guess florists are a bit like artists and take a bit of liberty now and again.
Fabulous capture and you may not have done it - but you jusy might have a little Grunge going on in the background. Just my opinion. Dana
