Description
This is the pier in Swakopmund, Namibia and I captured this image in March this year. Marilyn, I vividly remember thinking of you when I snapped away and remembering how much you like photographing piers. As you can see, I couldn't exactly get underneath it for that classic shot! The tide was a tad high!! LOL... Hope you and everyone else enjoys it!

Oh gosh - this is wonderful! I love the pov, and the fact that you've captured something so familiar and at the same time so unusual! (Our piers are solid across the top, generally speaking, and are made all of wood.) I love the rushing of the water, and the sharp shadows. Beautiful image!
thats a pretty unusual pier. The blues, greens and brown set each other off beautifully
I saw a similar bridge when I was there..i wasn't quite able to capture the magic of ic...well seen!
