This is astounding! The colors are, naturally, the first thing to grab my eye...the details are the next; but this goes so far beyond color and detail, though those are intimate parts of the composition. The whole thing simply rocks, and I love the sort of cross-species elements native to this particular flower. It looks like an open mouth waving an extravagant and overcomplicated, but oh-so-efficient tongue at you, like some alien critter tasting the air and determining whether or not a satisfying bit of food is within a 3 mile radius. Great work!
exquisite ! what a beautiful colour
Superlative colors, POV, clarity and textural effects in this one. This is so spectacular that I'm driven to my knees in abject admiration.
When I first looked at this I thought you had painted it and then I realized that it is a photograph. I'm almost speechless by the beauty. This deserves so much more than a rating of 5.
Breathtaking capture Tara. Love the color, detail and texture in the petals. I did blush a little. Dana

This is fantastic. The details are impressive. You do these so well. I really have to catch up, and I will! The colors are rich and who would have thought there would be so many details in something small? Great work.
