Yellow roses are favorites here. Yours is all the more enhanced with the way the sunlight is playing off the petals. Just gorgeous!!!
gorgeous and beautiful! breathtaking play of light and shadow! wow! ;o)
another of your beautiful single-flower (or single group) captures where you work with the complexity of one living being, and find the pov and light, etc, that will make it sing a solo. It's beautiful. And yes I can see the 'coming bloom', and the light & shade is very delicate. A fine & bursting shot.
Very beautiful flower and shot
Gorgeous shot auntie, and of course the lighting is great :):)

Such a wonderful yellow, so much details on the veins.
Stellar clarity, colors, lighting and textures in this marvelous and meticulous macro!
Beautiful rose, mine are budding. Hopefully soon now. Great capture.
I love to see the garden full of "poised" blooms ~ Super photo.
This is great! The color is awesome, but what really grabs me is the vein-work on the petals. Superb detail! Great light...really great light, and the fuzzy leaf reminds me of the bristles on a cat's tongue. I have no idea why that association jumped out at me, but there it is...gorgeous flowers and cat tongues...oh well. It's a great shot! Fantastic work.
I can feel that it is ready to explode into a brilliant, sunny rose. Outstanding! Dana
Awesome color and details. I love that you got close enough to show the inside of the blossom just before it opens. I can almost smell the perfume!
gorgeous!!
wondeful light
