Description
Many legends have accumulated around the personality of the queen of Babylon, who restored and protected the city with a high brick wall that completely surrounded it. According to Diodorus Siculus, Semiramis reigned as queen in her own right, after the death of her husband King Ninus, conquering much of Asia, and adding Ethiopia to her empire.

A very fantastic and beautiful scene!
A great work of art. Set as favorite and saved to my harddisk to study! Just as Phelinas, KarmaSong knows his history. So she conquered Ethiopia? Some claim Semiramis was the historical person Shammuramat (wife of a Babyloan king around 800 BC) but nobody knows for certain, she could just as well lived 800 years earlier. As Ethiopia was the source of Egypt's gold during the reign of Hatshepsout, Phelinas favorite, it is perfectly possible that the two queens knew each other..The mind boogles.

The colors in this are beautiful~
A truly magical and astounding POV! The landscape is phenomenal, mystical and magical... a true kingdom of perfect--where nothing can go wrong, seemingly. Love the softness and the details, it's as though in each corner and crevice there is a greater beauty to see and admire.... Truly lovely; and thank you for that bit of information... Delightful and majestic!
