Description
This clematis is from my own garden, so I didn't have to sneak around or anything! I just walked right up, stuck my camera in its face, and started clicking away.
While I did a bit of postwork, I didn't crop this at all. The composition was done as I was shooting.

This is absolutely gorgeous work. The details are amazing. I particularly like the complicated twiddly bits at the center of the blossom. "Twiddly bits" is a really specific and highly specialized scientific term, you know... Great colors and textures and this is most definitely a favorite.
Awesome Tara...
Great Macro,Super sharp
Fantastic Tara. I don't remember seeing a fence. So where does your garden end? On this side of the now dry creek or on the other? lol! Great macro!! Sig...
Excellent capture!
Looks like an animal :)
This is really gorgeous, and it's a little bit spooky too. It looks like a strange kind of sea creature full of tentacles, fins. I wonder if Chip has written an alien with a face with tentacles like that; probably so. He has a thing for tentacled creatures. Great colors and clarity. It has a National Geographic quality to it.
Awesome detail!
Kinda puts my Macro shot to shame, Tara! Brilliant! Rob.
Great composition and subtle lighting.
Beautiful flower, love the detail, outstanding capture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
