Oh, that roadway looks treacherous...but you survived it and came back to tell us all about it. Hope you have a safe drive to see your son and stay safe river-rafting.

Does remind me of my mountain road to Ft. Bragg. Barely room for an on-coming car...or logging truck. I envy your trip to Yosemite... some day I must see if for myself. Lodging in the area puts me off since I can't do a day trip there and rates for overnight, even in campgrounds when you can find one, are more than the gas to drive there.

I thought that was going up Waipio Valley. Yes indeed, it is a very dangerous place to drive. As Errol said, some places are just inches from oncoming cars. Great shot. Mine usually get blurred, as my husband loves to speed too much. Aloha and have a safe trip.

when I first saw this, I thought it was you driving to see your son & I was gonna say, "pssst: try to take a highway!" It doesn't surprise me that there are roads like this, and I'm glad it wasn't you driving, because I wouldn't wanna stop to take a picture if I were driving on a road like that.
