Aloooooha~
Summer is in full scha-wing here which means the summer surf is here! A nice swell has been running on the south shore here and the boys of summer were out in full force this day. This spot is normally reserved for boogie boarders, but this day a couple of surfers invaded the line up. I was glad they did as it got kind of boring shooting boogie boarders...not quite as thrilling for me as surfers who really go for it.
Here's a shot of Kainoa, one of the hottest surfers at this break. He's a great surfer and goes for the steepest and biggest waves. It's always a pleasure to shoot when he's out ripping it up. Kainoa locked in the tube.

Being an old surfer who has surfed his way around Hawaii more times than he cares to remember, I would have mistaken this for winter Backdoor Pipe. Great shot mate. Hmmmm not being a bodyboarder I'll take a guess at it maybe being Sandy Beach or even Ala Moana Beach Park? You have taken a great shot to be proud of.
