From Wikipedia: "Exhaust vapour trails or contrails usually occur above 8000 metres (26,000 feet). where the temperature is below -40°C (-40°F)." It's that blasted perspective/scale thing again.
IIRC I set the height to about 7000 so in TG2, that's in the ballpark wee laddie...maybe the plane is a wee bit large, but from where I live with wide open skies I see planes that are often are in this scale visually...s'all I'm going by..personal visual experience.. ...
