I just saw Moonrancher's upload from today, and that reminded me of a photo I took last summer. Fractals are nature; nature is built with fractals !

Excellent capture. You may be interested in a book by Alfred S. Posmentier and Ingmar Lehmann called "The (Fabulous) Fibonacci Numbers". There are some fascinating sections on this theory. :o)
