Description
Another weird happening in my garden...
First I thought this was a snake !, but on closer inspection, I discovered a different phenomena altogether.
Just like a procession of mini-furry-elephants, they travelled nose to tail in search of a tree base, where they can all congregate just like in a church, except everybody's got long hair !
Cheers *BB*

Awesome sequence and find, I'm really glad it wasn't another brown snake ! They are so cute and fluffy, I want to take them inside and "pwlay wid 'em" ! ~Cheers~ :o)
Fabulous captures and sequence Brigitte. You have some very strange things going on in your garden...
Very curious and they certainly have very long hair. Super captures and very well spotted. I think they are out to do some damage and I reckon they are congregating to work out a strategy of attack.
Those damn hippy caterpillars with their long hair and rock and roll! Ha! Cool and interesting nature captures!
Wonderful photos and macro.
I would suspect they sting. I've had "woolies" fall out of trees on me before and they left a burn like a cigarette on my skin. Very painful... Maybe these aren't the same. They sure are cool and I think you took good advantage of a fabulous find!
unbelievable! very cool!
you are lucky to find such a unusual trail of caterpillars especially in this bad weather we are having, great photo.
Marvellous to see this! I have read about them, and seen B/W pics but these are the first colour pics!
That's so cool and interesting, i like the way they form a snake :-)
凄い数の毛虫！！！ ナイスショット！！！！！
