Description
On a recent trip to the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, I took a stroll around Watson's Bay and discovered a demolition in progress...makin' room for the new.
(btw...Sunday lunch @ the Pub there is a must, they serve the best Fish & Chips, washed down with a cool beer, of course !)
I gave it a sepia tone and texturizer filter, to enhance the images.
Cheers *BB*

THIS IS A NICE SHOT BUT IT'S ALWAYS SAD WHEN THEY TEAR DOWN SOMETHING IN THE NAME PROGRESS.++5
What a beautiful view they had, such a shame to see these places torn down. I guess the new owners will enjoy this view all the same. I love how you have given this the sepia colouring, it is kinda fitting. I'll keep the pub lunch in mind.
Nice treatment, the sepia goes along with the demolished building inspiring a very vintage looking photograph.
great how you show us the beautiful view they once had. Nice processing, bravo!
Kool pad, great air-conditioning, multi-textured walls...when can I move in ? Neat capture sequence and postwork effects (wink, wink !) ~Cheers~
you did a great job on the texture it looks like its 50 yrs ago.
Superb images and presesntation! The sepia and texture give added gritty realism.
Gotta agree with Jeff; great AC! Haha! Well captured and nice presentation as well.
Good idea and pretty image treatment. Cool.
自然災害!!! 恐ろしい風景!!!!!
Very great capture !!! Cool idea :)
Yeah i remember this place,i used too work up the road from here, good one.
Great work, and cool texture you applied here.
reminds me of a place I had a few years ago... went away for the weekend, came back and found the landlord had ordered a demolition, the demolishers got the wrong adress.....
Oh, this is priceless...I wonder what will be there in the future! I love shots like this. In Chicago we have a series of historical/photography books in the "Images of America" series. Each major city in the USA has its own portion of the series, but I have only ever seen the ones from Chicago. There is one called "Images of Chicago" which is very engaging. Many of the photos are similar to yours, only with Chicago in the background. I love the details in this, and the wonderful jumble of shapes. It's like there could be lost treasure in there somewhere, if the demolition team did not get to it first! I love your sepia treatment. It really gives these photos a vintage look. I have to show this to CoreyBlack. He'll love it!
