Ok but Now we have a beautiful view of the mountain ;-)
Richard this is sad and many of times frank and I have been driving the hill here and spotted this on the hills along the freeways with out my camera (of course duh is me)) but it is sad you captured it with perfection ~~
stunning capture of the mood!!!! fantastic shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very sad photo Richard.Nature is fragile, we never should forget this.
Good to see some green grass growing (i.e. lower left) - maybe the area will eventually be actually better off.
It's sad to see beautiful landscapes destroyed by fire! Shocking image, Richard!
It's terrible..fantastic capture & photo! :)
awesome xhot Richard x f!
Great shot, but it will recover in time.
Wow, what a capture Richard! Sad reality!
Nature takes no prisoners....
Fantastic capture, Richard. Not much left after a huge fire, it seems. But the main thing for planet earth is, that it will recover.
harm around the forest.... Great shot!
Yes, sad but true. Great capture. Aloha
Awesome and dramatic composition, Richard!!!
Yes, forests do take time to reclaim the land. This is a fantastic shot!
Nature is an interesting school marm, full of lessons, many often seemingly contradictory, at least to our mindset. A forest fire is one, so often tragic in our eyes, the loss of beautiful woods and life that must either flee the blaze or perish in the wake. Yet the land renews and the fire can rejuvenate so that life returns and is again strong, and is no more to nature's eyes than rain or sun or the turning seasons. Beautiful capture.
Fantastic shot!!!
Terrific shot Richard!!
Excellent capture and it certainly looks devastated! Some wildfires are of course normal (as in, without human intervention), but I would have thought that nature recovers faster from it.
A sad scene Richard, Excellent capture, thanks for sharing with us!
contrastful and impressive scene! looks like a giant needed place to go through! ;o)
Dramatic mood but excellent capture!
awesome scenary and excellent photo..!!!
Very nice capture. The mountains looks great!
Oh, such a sad picture. Alas, I've seen forest fires while visiting the Grand Canyon myself. Apparently the forest gets so dry and then poof some idiot goes camping and sets the trees on fire. Great picture and POV.
That's nature,great shot!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so sad Richard. Which beauties lost. All everywhere through the globe there are distresses of all kinds and little there pay a feverish attention. Those which like Nature have the broken heart ((5++__)) Je suis si triste Richard . Quelles beautées perdues . Tout partout à travers la terre il y a détresses de toutes sortes et peu y portent une attention fébrile . Ceux qui aiment la Nature ont le coeur brisé ((5++))
