I have yet to get a good lightening shot! It's all a matter of timing, and mine is notoriously horrendous when it comes to shots like this. Great work. I especially like the dominant, urban-night colors that suffuse this image. There is a wonderful crispness to it as well. It's a superb shot.

Timing is one thing. To get shots like this is all about long exposure and a sturdy tripod. That’s how it’s done. Thanks for a detailed comment.
I love this. It's extremely atmospheric and totally sucks you in. I'm also subtly amazed, even knowing how you did it doesn't diminish its intensity. I once ran down a new camera battery trying to capture a lightening storm, to no avail. Wonderful work.
