Description
Staithes is a peaceful fishing village about 11 miles north of Whitby, it was once a busy sea port with large fishing fleets and tales of pirates and smugglers. In 1744 as a teenager Captain James Cook moved to Staithes to work for a local shopkeeper but it was not long before his interests turned towards the sea.

A lovely perspective and image, very nicely done, David.
Excellent pov David, nice to see they have kept the cobbles down, too many councils have covered them over with tarmac. Superb capture. Bravo!!!!!
