I've finished the texturing of my "Super" variant of the Crossbow fighter and I really like the result. So I threw in a hot test pilot to kick the tires and light the fires. Also, I often do two types of art: sci-fi ships and settings, and pin-ups. Occasionally, the two are bound to meet up. I'm trying to master rendering people in Carrara, and am working on getting the skin to look right. Please, let me know how I'm doing with that. And if you're a Carrara user with any tips, feel free to share! This character used the FRAD Molly mats with the Cararra "light" dark skin shader and subsurface scattering. This was going to be more revealing an image, but seriously, there was no way to do a partially nude test pilot without it seeming gratuitous to the point of silly.
