Description
A long bald eagle perched on a dead tree poking out above an infrared forest. Taken at full zoom (3x in this case) from a moving boat on a choppy lake. I'm surprised it came out as clear as it did, but I suppose I have the bright light and fast shutter speed to thank for that.

Superb!
Cool shot. Great colors. Aloha
Cool and pretty shot.... why are the flowers so white?? lol just kidding :)
Nice one Kort
I get the feeling of a dare with mother nature here. The bird says it can perch above the tree tops and defy lightening strikes... Absolutely a powerful composition.
Great detail in these IR shots especially this one. Dana
This is an eye opener for me...glad to see you can get the full effects of IR at a higher shutter speed without tripod, etc. (realizing bright sun helps).
Striking contrasts and the perfect perch for a bit of fishing ! Nice on the move IR Kort ! ~Cheers~
fabulous !
I love the look of the bare branches sticking up!!! Very cool!!!!
Unusual to find an eagle in your IR shots? excellent catch!!!!!
Great photograph and IR effect. You may need full zoom to see him but he sees you at any distance and I think he is waiting for something fresh to munch on so dont fall asleep! Hehe.
I wonder what the eagle sees? Nice capture. Aloha
