Description
This is my local version of the Black Forest beginning about 15 feet behind the property line of my backyard.
The birds love it. We see deer almost daily in there and some say a coyote will sneak in from time to time. Oh, and there is a creek in there too.
This caught my eye thanks to the Blue Jay perched in the middle.
Thanks for stopping by,
Bill:)

How marvellous, Bill! Will we be getting a walk round this area soon? I do hope so!
Blue jays are beautiful but sure are greedy buggers haha
Forest primeval. That's the kind of place I'd avoid, now that the bugs are active. I can almost hear the chiggers licking their chops for fresh meat.
wonderful photo!!!
Birds, Bugs, and Animals. All within a stones throw! Cool! Constantly wiping the drool away now. (3 spare memory cards I think!?) Rob.
Wonderful image!!
fantastic place!!!
We have some of this, too, but still not the variety of your birds. A wonderful shelter and source for water for them here. Very nice capture of the wildness.
Beautiful!
A super shot. Perfect habitat for birds and other wild life.
superlative photo. May I say i'm envious of the place you live in?
fantastic capture and lovely image..!!!
That bird has great colour.
I love the scenery!!
Stellar composition, Bill. The blue jay really stands out against the maze of forest greenery.
Wonderful capture Bill!
This looks like great bird terrain and no wonder they come to visit you. I feed the birds during the winter here but have not had nearly as many as last year and though it hasn't been as cold yet I'm not sure why there aren't as many around.
What a perfect habitat for birds! Thanks for showing us your backyard view. I can see why you have such variety there!
Lovely
Oh Bill you are really blessed to have such surroundings right next door, what opportunities to take shots of the wildlife...smile
