Description
Friday was a good day for birds on my back deck. At least three new birds arrived today.
Friday's Bird pictured here is a female Rose-breasted Grosbeak. I had originally posted this as a Le Conte Sparrow. Thanks to morningglory, this bird is now properly identified.
Thanks for stopping by,
Bill:)

Stunning photo art of bird here.
Great capture! I'm imagining you lurking in your kitchen window ... the vision makes me smile! :D (Next you'll be building a blind on your deck just to get a few feet closer.) The photographic results of your new hobby are wonderful!

A wonderful photo. A pretty little bird.
What a stunner she is! Posed just right for you. Perfect shot, Bill. Nice to know what this is as well (thanks morninglory!) Love these bird shots! Rob.
Great shot and detail. Good focal range. When he comes back tell him to watch out for the Cardinal.
Wonderful capture once again and another interesting bird. Looks like he could crack open a hickory nut. Or maybe a beer bottle.
really excellent detail of the feathers
You do get some super birds on youir decking.
Wonderful image !!!
Amorphous lighting and soft textural effects in this fine shot of the sparrow surveying the scene, Bill.
Wonderful!!!
A beautiful capture, they must be loving what you are feeding them. This little lady has lovely markings.
Well isn't she pretty?! No red on her, but quite the striking patterns on her wings and head! How interesting, and thanks for sharing these new birds, Bill!
