I'd like to see a bit more of the fractal/formation in the distance. The land in front of it is distracting me. Looks like an underwater volcano pushed its way up into an island & the stars almost look like ash. Feels like every breath would sting from the acrid air. Poly looks ok, but Gon is getting a little round... (see? I'm still a little dippy. lol!)

I think you're being too hard on yourself - this is great! I don't find the foreground at all distracting - it sets the mood (and the temperature...)
