Description
A little park in the middle of my home town that has a sign, "Union Park...1871". It isn't big but with three benches around a fountain, what else do you need for a quiet moment?
Got the idea of photographing this little gem from a poem and photo posted by Marilyn (beachzz) on the 27th of March by the title of "Pocket of Peace".

Beautiful area and wonderful capture. I can see peaceful surroundings, sitting on the bench, a good book, the sound of the fountain, cool breeze, sweet smell of the flowers, Yawn, Zzzzzzz.

Bill this is wonderful. Great composition and a great subject. I could spend a day on that bench with a good boat and thermos of coffee. Maybe a couple of sandwiches too.

Crisp, clear, colorful, a stellar DOF, and dig that picket fence and those terrific shadows in the foreground! Beachzz can sit in the shade on that nearby bench and recharge her batteries while she's gone.
