Description
Hi Everyone, Here is a look at the worlds most pleasant smelling flower. Well in my opinion anyway...they are 6mm across or 1/4 inch roughly. They have a broad flat leaf and they are runners. Growing on sunny roadside banks or throughout the woods. Most appear here in mid to late April through mid May. We find them in white, light pink and dark pink. A well received sign of warmer weather here in New England. Thank you all for the comments on my last upload- all are welcome and appreciated. As always best viewed full size. Best to all- GB-

How pretty these look and lovely to have them growing in the wild. Lovely capture.
Gorgeous. Wonderful detail. The lighting is well exploited here as well. In short, I like everything in this image.

Beautiful flower image. My favorite part is where the leaf is turned to skeleton. Wonderful textures.
Love it...they mean oh so much to me, remind me of days gone by with Gramp. I have some on the kitchen counter now :)

Well there you go...all this time I thought "April showers bring May flowers" refered to flowers that bloomed in May and not the name of an actual flower. Great Shot.

The name is "Trailing Arbutus" or Mayflowers, in the vernacular. The most lovely and well hidden flower in New England. Beautiful picture, Bro!
