Description
I think the title says it all really.
This is the engine room telegraph on the Salters Steamer Marlow that I posted a few shots of last week.
It appears to be in a condition which matches the rest of the vessel. It is still moored by Caversham Bridge and I still have no idea what is going to happen to this once beautiful craft.
I was going to post this a couple of days ago but, for some reason, my internet connection has been flakier than a well known chocolate confection of late - it has been down for five days during the last month on random days. My ISP say that there is nothing wrong at the server end and, as far as I can tell, there is nothing wrong at my end.
I can only put it down to making the huge mistake of telling some friends how reliable my connection was just a day before it went down for the first time.
I should have known better. :-)

Thank you so much for this one. 5+.
Nice detail shot!
Excellent Shot!
I love antiquities, a work of art.
Excellent!
That is so true what you say how many times you give something a good wrap and the wheels fall off. It's a real shame that no one has the vision or the money to restore that which was once as you say a beautiful craft, I see that so often. Good capture.
Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Sorry about the internet though!!!!
