Description
Just a real short break between various stuff. This is a shot from the cherry tree in my backyard. I wish I could do justice to the tree, but there's so much other stuff like power lines and such running through it that the real beauty of the blossoms gets lost. What really makes me happy is seeing honey bees in these flowers. Honey bees in our area were just starting to recover from a devastating mite when something else seems to be making them scarce. At least some are in the area, though!
Thanks for taking a look, and enjoy the rest of the weekend, everyone.

No spaceships or planets in sight, but cool image nonetheless.I bet there is one of your famous rock sculptures lurking in the background.
Lovely blossems.
This is a very very beautiful photo! love it :)
very good shot and yes it happy times to see the bees are back.
Glad the bees are coming back. Nice capture of the blossoms.
Beautiful tree! Agree about the honey bees..they have been practiclly non-existant here in Indiana for the last few years. Something to be very worried about...when they die off...so will major food sources due to lack of polination!
Super shot - do you get a good crop of cherries? Great spring image to counteract the gray fog outside my window...
Beautiful blossoms...
Gorgeous!
Such lovely blossoms!
Very nice shot and lighting! Well done.
Love it
