The flower has some of the facial qualities of a carved pumpkin:) A hearty welcome to your new avatar!

Very amazing. A secret place... Love the lighting and many details.
Say aaaah.....my, what big tonsils you have, grandma! Is that half an apple I see down deep down within that gaping maw, and a popsicle stick sticking out with a couple of green chilis on the end? Lush, vivid colors and super postwork lighting effects in this remarkable macro, Marilyn.
It looks like it belongs to the begonia family of flowers, Marilyn. This sure has a delicious peachy look to it.
Beautiful macro capture. Very nice detail inside. Dana p
Oh yes, those eggs. I know just what you mean. I see it too! :)
Your application of lighting is excellent Marilyn!
I don't remember those eggs, but oh well...there is a lot I don't remember. When I first saw the thumbnail to this image, it struck me that it would make an intriguing alien face. The colors, as always, are fantastic, and I love the way you've captured what appears to be a glow at the center of this gorgeous blossom.
Unique.Excellent macro.It is a beauty!!Bravo.
