Description
When I first started with this, the trees were sitting directly on the ground plane. While experimenting with the sky, cloud cover and mist, an optical illusion occurred giving a real sense of height to the foreground. Suddenly the ground plane seemed to be far below.
After adding the distant mountains and rising moon I decided to go with the overall idea.
