I truly hope this is not what we will leave to our children. We really should be more conscious of what we leave behind.
This started out as an experiment with Hexagon. Just making a simple 55 gal drum. It didn't turn out quite like the tutorial but I figured I'd try importing into Vue. Once I added the texture it turned out pretty cool looking and this image just seemed to come about of itself.
The trees and bushes are from Gnarly Dead Things from Cornucopia3D. The drum was my own creation using Hexagon 2.5. Render done in Vue 6 Infinite.
Some post work to bring the color out and create a starker contrast and add my logo.

This is a superb image Skip and you really did a great job making a point with it. This reminds me of the ad from long ago with the Native American looking at the trash in the stream and a tear runs down his cheek.
Great image and very true words! You would think that people could learn to take a little longer view, but... I should get involved a bit more with Hexagon as well - it's mostly sitting unused on my hard drive.
What a great idea and wonderful image. I have thought of what futre generations would think about us if all they found were movies. They wouldn't know what to think about us.....LOL
