Description
I'd like to introduce you to my dad. Today would have been his 101st Birthday.
He was hoping for 100 but only made it to 99 1/2, passing away in September 2007.
His life long hobbies were photography (of course) and music (too bad, I can only play the radio).
Just wanted to add a posting for him in my gallery. He'd heartily approve of Renderosity and all of you!
Thanks for stopping by,
Bill

I do like it Bill. He was a Sport, and this is a lovely tribute.
Your dad very nearly made the century of living, what a wonderful lot of things he would have experienced. What memories. I hope he was able to tell you about a lot of them. I have found since my parents died that I wished I had asked them a lot more questions about their lives. A lovely tribute.
So... Here's to your health Bill. You have a fine record to beat. He sure looks to be enjoying that beer. Excellent B&W.
Well it is very hard to look at this and not get emotional. doesn't take much for me right now. why do radio stations always play the saddest songs at the worst times. Bill this is beautiful and a treasure I hope you have it framed. My dad also enjoyed photography he had a picture published in a magazine at one point I should post one of his that he sent me. and you should post one of your dads photos, would be great to see. Glad to be back sure missed your work and you even, lol.
He lived a fruitful and wonderful life, and as human life span goes, he certainly wasn't cheated. And, be proud, my dad's only hobby was business. Splendid dedication, Bill.
awesome dedi! May he live many more!
A wonderful tribute to your father. He was a cute little fellow on the left and such a cheerful gentleman on the right. Well, he came very close to his goal of 100. I'm sure you miss him very much. Thanks for sharing.
An elegant time line tribute. Tender dedication.
What a wonderful way to honor your dad!!
This is such a beautiful tribute, my friend. I'm struck by how much you look like your father ... the resemblance is quite wonderful! I would have loved to have been able to meet him. Betcha we'd have had quite a time! :) I'll join you in honoring him today. Thank you for sharing him with us.
When you get older you realize your parents are the two best friend you ever had.. My own Dad is 79... A fitting tribute to your past Dad...
A fine tribute Bill, a priceless memory of a wonderful man.Why did the Victorians (don't know what the period would be called your side of the pond ) insist on dressing boys dresses ?. Thanks for sharing so personal a moment.

Bill, a man you should be proud of. A fine looking Gent, pleasure to 'meet' him.... Great tribute, I do the same for Debbie. And so should you, why not? Speak soon, Rob.
