Description
No buds yet...but they are mighty close.
This towering giant is in a riverside park here in my hometown.
The morning sun on the tree in this early morning shot really caught my eye.
Please ZOOM...it looks so much more impressive.
Hope you enjoy it.
Thanks for stopping by,
Bill:)

wonderful shot :D great view too:)
Zoom is impressive--your POV gives it a silvery, magical feel--great shot!!
You're right about the zoom, Bill. This is near Leavenworth recently? Our dogwoods (Tulsa) have been in full bloom for going on 10 days now. The azaleas are burgeoning with blossoms.
Way to go. 5+. My Fav.
It caught my eye too. Exellent.
Just look at that sky! What a colour! A really cheer-u-up pic!
Wonderful shot!!
superb blue sky.
ONE WORD SPLENDID
Love how the branches shine, and the color, too. Superb!
Sharp clarity plus stellar branch and limb lighting effects really pop this arboreal giant out against the relatively dark sky, Bill. And, I zoomed in on it for full appreciation of the image and your efforts.
even with no leafs trees are beautiful and your capture equally
A beautiful tree. Won't be long now until is will be all in green. Super shot.
An interesting and beautiful capture!!!!
Nice looking colours in the sun. It's just about ready!! Doesn't look that happy right at the very top though..... Brilliant clear sky. What I wouldn't do for one of those here! Take care and great picture. Rob.
really good work Bill, I love how the small branches are all shimmering & white, against the darker large branches & trunk. This is a real early spring shot, sinewy & thread-like, and looking like it's ready to bloom. Don't know how you get the light on shots like these, but it's beautiful. Perfect for a cold spring morning!
wow, this is cool, love it against the blue sky
FANTASTIC SHOT!
beautiful shot, and I love the fractal nature of the branches - so much easier to see before the leaves pop out:)
LOVE the light!
ah just my type of shot, Bill, smile
