Super capture..
They always seem to look so menacing ! Or maybe my morbid fear of them!!
I agree Danny..... usually anyway. I have another shot I took the other day an almost comical mood to it..... I'll post it tomorrow.
This is a superb capture...hopefully nobody makes a belt out of this guy. I love the texture here, the reptilian skin in contrast to the water-growth. Fantastic, natural color. Great close up detail as well. Super.
great shot and well composed, texture differnces between the gator and Lemma minor (duckweed) are particularly nice
Amazing! I can only imagine meeting one of these in person. None live in my area.
Wow, lucky he didn't run into you first.... Great shot. Aloha
I hope you didn't run into him literally! He looks quite menacing, but the duckweed seems to add a comic air to his disguise. Great capture!
Great shot! I wonder what he's thinking.
Wonderful capture.
So exciting to see this great shot! The largest creature this shape in my pond is newt!
Looks very menacing in full shot, very scarey.
Superb image and details! Even at 400mm, that looks too close for comfort!
Wonderful capture
